Lapis Lazulli

A deep blue metamorphic rock called lapis lazuli is utilised as a semi-precious stone. It was painted with indigo and occasionally had gold flecks. Mirror frames and trinket boxes both display it. It can also serve as a centrepiece for a particular region inside a room, like a box or sculpture. The stone can be used as covers and coasters on dining tables to add an appearance of exotic richness to the table arrangements.
